Forget to wear garden gloves? It’s easy to do. You reach down to pull out one pesky weed and before you know it, you’ve pulled weeds for half an hour. Now you’ve got a big pile of weeds, as well as a pair of dirty, stained hands.
Use these natural hand stain removers to get rid of garden stains and refresh your hands using only fresh lemons or green tomatoes! Remember to moisturize well after these treatments, however, as they can dry your skin.
• Fresh Lemon Stain-Lifter. To clean and disinfect stained hands, simply rub the fresh juice of a cut lemon all over your hands. Wait 5 minutes, then rinse well with warm water. Stains will be gone and your hands will smell lemony fresh.
• Green-Out Tomato Treatment. Working around tomato plants can turn your hands and arms yellow-green. To remove these stains, cut a green tomato in half and rub the juice over your skin. Wait 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
