Makes 4 ounces

This sweetly scented spray repels fleas and ticks as it adds luster to your cat’s coat. A basket filled with a new brush, a bottle of this spray and several catnip mice makes a wonderful gift for a cat-loving friend.

  • ½ cup distilled water
  • 1 tablespoon witch hazel
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • 1 teaspoon dried lemon verbena

1 Mix together all of the ingredients and pour into a clean spray bottle.
2 Wait 1 week, then strain out herbs.
3 Shake well and store in a cool, dry spot. To use, lightly mist cat or mist your hand and massage spray into your cat’s fur.

Caution:  Garlic can be toxic to animals.  We like to be on the safe side. Thanks Dr. Pendleton. -Ed.
