Makes enough for two people
After applying this scrub, your feet (and lower legs, if you choose to use it on them) will feel clean and energized. For a refreshing, invigorating scrub, use a peppermint or rosemary hydrosol. For an antifungal/antibacterial scrub, choose a tea tree hydrosol.
· 1 tablespoon sea salt, finely ground
· 1/2 tablespoon old-fashioned oats, finely ground
· 1 teaspoon hydrosol of your choice — try peppermint (Mentha piperita), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) or tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Combine dry ingredients in a glass bowl and moisten with the hydrosol to form a paste. Sit on the edge of the bathtub and wet your feet. Apply scrub to dry areas of the feet and gently massage. Prevent clogging the drain by removing any excess scrub from the tub. Rinse feet with warm water.
Your feet will feel refreshed and smooth. Do not use this scrub if your feet are cracked or if cuts or abrasions are present. Dispose of any leftover scrub.
