Body and Soul: Energizing Foot Scrub Recipe

Coarse salt exfoliates the feet while olive oil moisturizes them in this Energizing Foot Scrub recipe.

If you have rough, dry feet, try this Energizing Foot Scrub recipe. It is perfect for smoothing rough heels and getting them really clean, and the olive oil helps moisturize and soften rough skin. Use this Energizing Foot Scrub after soaking your feet as part of your home pedicure regime for healthy feet. MAKES 12 OUNCES

• 1/2 cup whole oats
• 1/2 cup cornmeal
• 1/2 cup coarse sea salt or kosher salt
• 1/2 cup light olive oil

1. Stir ingredients together until you have a thick, grainy mixture. Spoon the scrub into a clean container with a tight-fitting lid.

2. To use: Massage about a tablespoon of the Energizing Foot Scrub into each foot. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, and then rinse well with warm water.
