Whole Foods Market is adding another product line to its premium body care program.
Depth products, created by college sweethearts Tim Schaeffer and Korie Johnson, boast 70 percent organic ingredients (including aloe vera and sunflower) and a working relationship with Camp SEA Lab, a non-profit camp in Monterey Bay, California (one of my favorite areas of the country!).
The creamy consistency and luxurious scent of Depth Bay Coconut shave cream (it’s also available in Ocean Blossom, Sea Berry and Mangrove Citrus) put me in an uplifting mood. It only took a dime-sized dab (and a sharp razor) to get the job done on my underarms. It left my skin soft and lightly scented. The organic aloe vera added a nice touch of moisture.
Besides the great ingredients and delicious smell, half of the materials that make up the bottle are recycled, and the bottle is labeled with the 1 recycling number, which is widely accepted at recycling centers.
