You may recall from your high school Greek mythology lesson that sirens were beautiful sea creatures that captivated and lured sailors to their deaths. I think it’s a safe bet that they had amazing skin! Perhaps they knew the power of seaweed.

Seaweed is the star of this mask: It infuses skin with vitamins and minerals while stimulating the production of collagen. Chlorella is a sea alga that is rich in the antioxidant vitamin A as well as zinc. Yogurt is the perfect base, as some of the skin-loving goodies in seaweed are water-soluble, while others are oil-soluble. Plus, the lactic acid in yogurt is a mild exfoliant, stimulating collagen production and leaving skin super soft and siren-worthy.

Ingredients

• 2 teaspoons full-fat, plain yogurt
• 1 drop rose, geranium or ylang-ylang essential oil
• 1/4 tsp kelp powder
• 1/4 tsp chlorella powder

Directions

1. In a small bowl, mix the drop of essential oil into the yogurt base.

2. Add the kelp and chlorella, and mix until you have a smooth consistency.
