This No-Bake Brownie Recipe takes just five ingredients and five minutes to make.
24 small squares SERVINGS
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw walnut pieces
- 1 cup (packed) soft Medjool dates (about 10 to 11), pits removed
- 1/2 cup pure cacao powder or cocoa powder
- Pinch sea salt
- 1 to 2 tablespoons cacao nibs (optional)
Directions
- Place walnuts in a food processor and grind for a few seconds to form a coarse flour.
- While machine is running, add dates, cacao powder and salt, processing until a moist, crumbly dough has formed. Depending on moisture in dates, you may need to add a touch of water, a teaspoon at a time, to get the crumbs to stick when pinched together.
- Spread crumbs into an 8-by-8-inch pan, sprinkle with cacao nibs, if desired, and press firmly into a solid layer. Cut into bite-size squares and serve. Alternately, press and roll brownie dough into small balls to make brownie bites. Check out affordable superfoods and recipes: Read 10 Superfoods You Can Afford.
