This combination of comfrey and oats is quick and easy to prepare. Comfrey soothes the skin, and the oats draw oil and cosmetic residues out of the skin. This is a good blend for normal skin and a nice alternative to moisture-robbing soap. MAKES 1 CUP (ENOUGH FOR ABOUT 16 APPLICATIONS)

• 1/2 cup dried comfrey leaf
• 1/2 cup whole organic oats

1. Finely powder both ingredients and mix together. Use 1 heaping tablespoon of the scrub to approximately 1 teaspoon pure water or plain yogurt. Mix well to form a creamy paste.

2. Apply to skin with a soft, wet cloth or sponge. Gently scrub face. Rinse with water. Store and use for 6 months.
