Herbal Facials: Chamomile Toner

This toner refreshes and finishes the cleansing process while restoring the skin’s proper pH. MAKES ABOUT 2 CUPS (ENOUGH FOR 30 TO 60 APPLICATIONS)

• 2 cups purified water
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1/2 cup dried chamomile flowers

1. Pour water into a canning jar and heat in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Add chamomile flowers to warm water. Screw on airtight lid and shake. Allow mixture to cool. Add vinegar and place in a warm, dark place for 1 week.

2. Shake daily, then strain toner through a mesh strainer. Discard chamomile. Store in an airtight decorative bottle for use up to 6 months.
