Rose petals are a great addition to your natural beauty arsenal. Use rose petals primarily for their natural astringent benefit. They are also naturally cleansing and have mild antiseptic properties that help kill bacteria and germs. Try the following rosewater recipe for a refreshing splash after a bath. MAKES 8 OUNCES

• 1/2 cup rosewater
• 1/2 cup distilled water
• 1 tablespoon witch hazel

1. Combine all ingredients and pour into a clean container or spray bottle.

2. To use: Splash or spray onto clean skin after bathing.
