<p>This cleanser will keep your skin soft and bright. It is a good alternative to soap because it contains two herbs beneficial to sensitive skin: fennel and elderflowers. If neither grows in your garden, you may substitute the dried version. <em>Makes 6 ounces.</em>

• 1/2 cup boiling water<br />
• 1 teaspoon fresh fennel leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried<br />
• 1/2 cup fresh elderflowers or 1/4 cup dried<br />
• 1 tablespoon honey<br />
• 1/4 cup buttermilk</p>
<p>1. Combine water, fennel and elderflowers. Steep until cool. Strain mixture and blend liquid with honey and buttermilk.</p>
<p>2. To use, massage a small amount onto face and neck. Rinse with warm water and pat skin dry. Store in refrigerator.</p>
