I never used to be a perfume connoisseur. I’ve always been the type who sticks with one signature scent, and when it’s gone, simply refill.

But then I found Pacifica perfumes. Earlier this year, I fell in love with Pacifica spray perfumes (Tuscan Blood Orange and Hawaiian Ruby Guava are my favorites). The delicate blends of citrus and berries combine for a soft, summery scent. The bottle size of these sprays is relatively small (about 3 inches high), but Pacifica has come up with something better as far as clearing your purse clutter goes:

Introducing Pacifica solid perfumes. These sweet little tins pack as much scent in just as cute packaging as the traditional sprays. Made of 100 percent organic soy and coconut wax base, Pacifica solid perfumes contain no phthalates or parabens. The ornate packaging is sure to rival grandma’s beautiful old perfume bottles, too; plus, it’s made of postconsumer content. At $8.95 a tin for 0.3 ounces, it’s not too bad to grab a couple to last you through the summer.

My personal favorite from Pacifica’s collection is Bali Lime Papaya–reminds me of summer sweetness (not sweatness)! Which summer scents are you loving right now? Do you even dare wear cologne or perfume in this blistering heat and humidity? Do you worry about chemicals in perfumes? Leave me a comment and let me know what you smell like!
