I first stumbled upon EO last year while visiting a Longs Drugs in San Francisco. I purchased a grapefruit & mint body lotion (which I still looooove!) and became more and more interested. When I reviewed beauty products for Natural Home, I knew I had to find out more about EO. A fabulous hand wash made the cut for the magazine, but I couldn’t stop raving about the organic lip treatment in wild peppermint.
Sweet almond oil, organic safflower and beeswax moisturize while organic peppermint and stevia invigorate and sweeten. This balm is a true balm–no slippery-ness here–but it’s a little waxy. Regardless, I love it and it’s a perfect pick-me-up after a harsh Kansas winter. It’s $2.99 and is USDA organic.
Next post? I’m going to go into a few other balms I own that are not exactly organic, but claim a natural essence or an earthly agent.
