Mullican Flooring, a leader in the development of innovative and sustainable products for the hardwood flooring industry, has added four products to its popular, hand-sculpted Chatelaine Collection.
Introduced in 2004, the prefinished, solid Chatelaine products feature a distinctive, vintage appearance due to each board being painstakingly hand-tooled during the manufacturing process. Adding to the collection’s existing six selections in maple, hickory and walnut, the four new products are oak sienna, birch chestnut brown, oak winesap and hickory natural.
“Customers are particularly drawn to the hand-sculpted surface treatments of our Chatelaine floors,” says Brian Greenwell, vice president of sales and marketing for the Johnson City, Tenn.-based company. “The boards have an aged appearance, which people find coordinates well with existing décor and brings a classical look to any room.”
The collection’s solid, 3/4-inch-thick floors carry Mullican’s Alpha A’lumina Real World Finish, which has a 25-year warranty.
Founded in 1985, Mullican has manufacturing sites in four locations – Johnson City; Norton, Va.; Holland, N.Y.; and Ronceverte, W.Va. For more information about the company’s more than 1,500 products, visit www.mullicanflooring.com.
