The Anti-Aging Moroccan Wrap (90 minutes, $140) features Rhassoul clay customized with your choice of wildflower essence (rose and orange water to soothe, or jasmine and mint to invigorate). Mined deep beneath the Atlas Mountains in Eastern Morocco, the Rhassoul clay contains higher percentages of silica, magnesium, potassium and calcium than other clays. And its absorption capacity makes it more effective than other clays for cleansing, detoxification and general skin treatments.
At the spa, double doors reveal a vista of the high desert. Performed in view of the restorative mountains, the treatment–a full-body exfoliation, firming wrap, scalp massage, application of anti-aging body cream and dusting of copper powder–refreshed me for a hike to the Tent Rocks mesa top for phenomenal views of the ancient cone-shaped rock formations below.
