A Midsummer’s Eve Celebration: Midsummer Potpourri

Makes a little more than 2 cups
Place a handful of this pretty potpourri­ in a fabric pouch, tie it with a ribbon and tuck in a sprig of fresh thyme (for fairy viewing).

  • 1 cup dried lavender flowers
  • ½ cup dried mint leaves
  • ¼ cup dried thyme
  • 1/3 cup dried rosemary
  • A few drops each of essential oils of lavender, thyme and bergamot
  • Dried flower petals (scented pelar­gonium or rose)
  1. Mix all the ingredients.
  2. Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
