There are many reasons you should add turmeric to your medicine cabinet. It’s a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, it lowers cholesterol, and it fights atherosclerosis. Did you know that you can easily absorb turmeric’s health benefits by mixing it with one of my favorite drinks, milk? I have milk almost everyday with my cereal, pasta dishes, and Lean Cuisines. Native to South Asia, turmeric gives off a bright yellow color often seen in curry dishes. My goal for today was to find a way to bring the health benefits of turmeric into your everyday milk consumption.
