With these homemade vegetable burgers, made with your choice of nuts or seeds, you’ll get all the healthy, vegetable protein you need. MAKES 6 BURGERS
• 1 1/2 cups nuts or seeds, soaked overnight, then rinsed in a strainer
• 4 carrots, chopped
• 1 cup fresh cilantro
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 tablespoons tamari
1. Run the above ingredients through a food processor and form into burger shapes.
2. The burgers do not require cooking. Enjoy with a salad for a lovely lunch.
