Herbs for Menopause Symptoms: Cooling Tea to Prevent Hot Flashes

  • 1 quart water
  • 2 teaspoons schisandra berries (Schisandra chinensis)
  • 1 teaspoon hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa)
  • 1/2 teaspoon linden (Tilia ¥europaea)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon balm (Melissa officinalis)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage (Salvia officinalis

1. Bring the water to a boil.

2. Remove from heat and add the herbs, steeping for 15 minutes.

3. Strain and sip throughout the day.
