Living in rural South Dakota, Loretta launched her writing career through articles featuring the draft horses she and her husband have raised and farmed with over the past 30 years. Since that humble beginning, she has written about other draft horse enthusiasts, vintage farm equipment, rural farm life and industries and the people who make up the fabric of her rural community.
