Hello! Today, I'm thinking about the Best For section of the upcoming Remodeling and Redecorating issue. In keeping with the issue theme, we're planning to revamp "Best For" next issue. Best For has appeared in Natural Home for many years and, though we've updated its style a few times over the years, it's always featured a few of our favorite products that relate to the theme of the issue. It always scores very well in the pre- and post-issue surveys we conduct with our online editorial advisory groups, and we think we understand why. We're all committed to reducing consumerism while also improving our homes' efficiency and comfort, so it's important that we choose wisely what things we spend our money and resources on. Here at Natural Home, our mission is to give you the information and resources you need to decide what you want to bring into your home (and what you want to keep out of it). To that end, we've decided to expand Best For. It will now be a three-page section at the front of each issue. In it, we'll continue to give you our favorite products related to the issue theme, as well as lots of resources that aren't things you buy such as great websites, cool apps, ideas, tips and information.
For the upcoming May/June issue, the theme is Remodeling and Redecorating. We've got lots of wonderful items and ideas, but we're always eager to hear what you're thinking about and searching for. Is there something remodeling- or redecorating-related that caught your eye recently? Something you're coveting for your own home? Something you want to know more about? Drop me a line, and we'll try to get it into the upcoming issue!
