Natural Sun Protection: After Sun Spray

| July/August 2002

This after sun spray contains aloe vera and lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), which can repair damaged skin cells. The vinegar in this recipe also feels great on a minor sunburn but will sting a more severe burn.

  • 2 ounces aloe vera gel
  • 24 drops lavender essential oil
  • ¼ teaspoon vitamin E oil
  • ¼ teaspoon vinegar
  1. Combine all of the ingredients.
  2. Shake well before spraying on skin.
  3. Store in the refrigerator to provide cool, soothing relief for any burn.
