What about a hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy in 1992. Would I be considered “post menopause,” or does the fact that I will not go through natural menopause mean that articles about menopause don’t apply to me? Also, at what point, if ever, do you stop taking estrogen? My doctor says never.

Wow--the information about inflamed elbow is what my own dad is experiencing. He's 90 and in a long-term care facility. I'll keep this for future reference. Maybe I could try wrapping his elbow and putting on the liniment but I sure as heck wouldn't be able to get him an herbal pill.
