This one is for my little godson, Charlie. The poor little monkey is in and out of hospital so often with his asthma. I am hoping that once he gets over the scary young age for his asthma, he can use this as a preventer. It is also great if you have a cold too, and makes for a fab steam.
Yield: makes about 20g
Ingredients
- 15g beeswax
- 10 drops of thyme essential oil
- 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
- 10 drops of lavender essential oil
- 10 drops of frankincense essential oil
- small sterilized jar
Instructions
Gently heat the beeswax until melted, either in a double boiler or in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of barely simmering water (ensuring the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water underneath).
Remove from the heat and leave to cool, then stir in the essential oils. Transfer to a small, sterilized jar, seal and label. Store in the bathroom for up to a year. Use liberally when needed by rubbing into your chest.
