Lavender-Jojoba Sugar Body Polish Recipe

Gently exfoliate and hydrate skin with this homemade sugar body polish.

  • This lavender-jojoba body polish will leave your skin feeling refreshed and luxurious.

Gently exfoliate dry skin or rough spots while experiencing a luxurious moisturizing treatment.

• 1⁄4 cup jojoba oil, or 1⁄4 cup blend of jojoba, olive or sunflower oils
• 1⁄4 cup sugar, preferably turbinado sugar
• 15 to 20 drops lavender essential oil
• 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh or dried lavender flowers and/or leaves (optional)

Thoroughly mix the first three ingredients in a glass or ceramic bowl. Optionally, finely chop or shred lavender and combine with mixture. Apply to damp skin with a clean washcloth or by hand in gentle, circular upward motions. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Makes about 8 ounces.
