Sitting at a desk all day can harm our posture, and in turn, our health. Join Jessica Kellner, the Editor-in-Chief of Mother Earth Living magazine, for a few minutes of rest and relaxation as she guides you through a new, office-friendly yoga stretch.

This is a wonderful stretch for our upper bodies, which can become extra strained after sitting hunched over a desk all day. To counteract the act of slouching, wrap your arms around your body in a pose that looks similar to hugging yourself. First, inhale while opening up your arms, then exhale as you wrap your arms around your body. Try to grip your fingertips directly under your shoulder blades and hug yourself as tight as you can, squeezing all of the air out of your lungs. This pose might feel tight at first, especially if you lift weights, so slowly ease into it.
