Healthy Liver Diet: Hepatic Liver Support Tea

<p>
<em>Makes 2 cups</em>
<br />
Use for chronic hepatitis or after an acute phase of hepatitis has passed.<br />
</p>
<ul>
<li>1 teaspoon milk thistle</li>
<li>½ teaspoon artichoke leaf</li>
<li>½  teaspoon turmeric</li>
<li>½  teaspoon schisandra</li>
<li>½  teaspoon shiitake (Lentinula edodes)</li>
<li>¼ teaspoon licorice</li>
<li>2½  cups water</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>Simmer the herbs and water for 45 minutes.</li>
<li>Steep the herbs for 15 minutes, strain and drink 1 cup of the tea two times daily.</li>
