Seed Storage Guide

Wind down your summer with these seed care and storage tips, and enjoy an organized (and fruitful) spring planting season.

| August/September 2010

The end of the summer is the perfect time to start readying your seeds for next year’s garden. Proper seed organization and storage will save yourself from a lot of time down the road. Our strategies will keep your seeds safe during the harsh winters until the spring planting season. (Store them in a cool, dry, dark place to ensure a fruitful garden.) We also show you how long your seeds will keep if you’re having trouble deciding what to save and what to toss.
