Last year, we read about a woman from Illinois who loved gardening so much that she planted one in the back of her car. We asked to hear about your crazy containers; here’s what some of you sent in.

I found this non-electric beverage server at the rummage sale at my church. It adds a part of whimsy to my garden.

I use peppers for various stuffed pepper recipes, but now and then I use them for centerpieces or place-setting containers. Here are some filled with gatherings at hand, the Christmas greens, hips from old roses (Madam de Corbet Blanc), rugosa, and wild; pigeon berries on our property; sages like the Berggarten from Germany’s Hanover Gardens, tri-colored, and other sages; thymes; and perhaps cedar twigs.
