Astragalus Chai Powder Honey Recipe

Astragalus root is an immunomodulating herb that is used to strengthen the immune system. This recipe combines the sweet-tasting root with the aromatic spices often found in chai tea. This can be taken daily by the teaspoonful.


• 1/4 cup astragalus root powder
• 1/2 tsp ginger powder
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
• 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
• 1/8 tsp clove powder
• 1/2 cup raw local honey


1. Combine all the powders together and stir well. Place in a bowl or jar with a tight-fitting lid.

2. Stir in the honey. Cover and label. This mixture will keep indefinitely.
