Aronia vinaigrette is a perfect dressing for salads with fruit and nuts.

Aronia Vinaigrette Recipe


• 1⁄2 cup aronia berries
• 1⁄2 cup water
• 1⁄4 cup olive oil
• 1⁄4 cup balsamic or cider vinegar
• 2 to 3 teaspoons sugar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 pinch cumin powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon tamarind paste (optional)


Wash aronia berries and purée in a blender. Mix remaining ingredients, except tamarind, and whisk to form an emulsion. Add optional tamarind paste to increase the tangy flavor.
