This juice is a great way to start every day and get those dark leafy greens first thing in the morning. If you become a big fan, feel free to increase the recipe and keep sipping through lunch.
• 1 medium lemon
• 5 large pieces kale (or other dark leafy green)
• 1 medium cucumber
• 1 medium-large apple
• 3 celery stalks
• 1/2 inch fresh ginger, or to taste
Peel rind from lemon and juice ingredients one at a time in a high-powered juicer. Drink up and shine all morning. Makes about 16 ounces.
