This ginger variation can tame tension, aid digestion and alleviate heartburn, burping, bloating and other digestive upsets.
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 mint tea bag or teaspoon peppermint leaves, placed in a tea ball
- 1 to 1½ teaspoons black seed oil
- 2 teaspoons honey
- Combine hot water and tea in a mug. Allow to steep for 10 minutes.
- Remove tea bag or leaves. Stir in black seed oil and honey, and serve.
Variation: Ginger Tea with Black Seed and Honey - Replace peppermint with 2 to 3 teaspoons finely grated fresh gingerroot. Steep, strain and season as directed above.
