Method’s new laundry detergent makes doing laundry easier on your muscles and on the environment.
The detergent is meant to be pumped, not poured, eliminating detergent overconsumption and saving space in the laundry room. Each load of laundry only needs four quick pumps of the ultra-concentrated formula.
Method’s detergent uses one-fourth the dose of the leading national brand. It uses what it calls smartclean technology, which means that because of its higher concentration of cleaning ingredients, less water is included in the detergent and less detergent is needed to get clothes clean. The detergent uses 95 percent natural, plant-based and renewable ingredients.
The detergent comes in a small, lightweight bottle made from 50 percent post-consumer recycled plastic. Method says its product uses 36 percent less plastic and that 33 percent less energy and oil is required to produce its bottle than other leading detergent brands.
The detergent comes in 50-load bottles for $15 and 25-load bottles for $8. It is available in Fresh Air and Peony Blossom scents, and in Free and Clear for a scent-free, allergy-sensitive formula.
