This is a great post. I've been addicted to sugar since I was 12 and Im2 now 31 and still addicted. I will definitely try these tips out and hopefully be on my way to recovery.

'too much salt' is always mentioned in every diet plan. Perhaps all the margarines and butters in this country should be salt free like in Europe. When I was baby sitting for the military in my native Germany I demanded sweet butter for breakfast when I had to stay over night. My first agenda, after arriving here for good was to find salt-free fats, and to this day, 40+ yrs later I am avoiding salted butter. Why do famous chefs use and recommend salt-free butter?!? And stop serving bread and butter with every MEAL, that will cut out a few calories right away.

I have found that eating about 350 calories every 3 hours keeps me out of the cravings as long as I limit carbs to 25 grams per meal. I distinguish good carbs from bad just as with oils & fats. Good carbs can go up to 50-75 grams per meal.
