Future Friday Opens Sustainable Living Fair to Students

Future Friday seeks to open the Sustainable Living Fair to youth in the Fort Collins area.

Teenagers can go green, too. The Poudre School District of Fort Collins, Colorado, has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association to create Future Friday , a green field day for local junior high and high school students.

Future Friday is September 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 10th Annual Sustainable Living Fair venue. It will feature a variety of workshops and activities designed to connect local youth to regional and national sustainability experts. Discussions and workshops will cover a range of topics such as:

• Eco-lifestyles for teens

Green careers

• Youth community building and volunteering opportunities

• Entrepreneurship, sustainable business practices and fair trade
