Black Cumin: Mint Tea with Black Seed and Honey

Serves 1
This ginger variation can tame tension, aid digestion and alleviate heartburn, burping, bloating and other digestive upsets.

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 mint tea bag or teaspoon peppermint leaves, placed in a tea ball
  • 1 to 1½ teaspoons black seed oil
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  1. Combine hot water and tea in a mug. Allow to steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bag or leaves. Stir in black seed oil and honey, and serve.

Variation: Ginger Tea with Black Seed and Honey - Replace peppermint with 2 to 3 teaspoons finely grated fresh gingerroot. Steep, strain and season as directed above.
