So, I got a new vegan lippy from my coworker Allison (she and I love to trade new products, especially when we know the other person would love it even more–I give Allie every single lavender-infused item I receive). It’s called, simply, vegan lip balm, from Herbs of Grace. I’m enjoying the tangerine-infused kind.

Made with jojoba, castor oil, candelilla wax, cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin E and tangerine essential oil, this little tube of goodness is as pure as it gets. My only complaint is that it’s a little too slippery on my lips, and the tangerine essence isn’t as apparent as it could be–but that could be good for those of you who aren’t too big on scents and tastes.

For just $3.25/0.15 ounces to support a seemingly small company, I think it’s worth it–especially if you’re a lip balm junkie like me.

What do you think about vegan products? Is it a hype, or is it worth the extra expense? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
