Breakfast has always given me an excuse to indulge in one of my guiltiest of pleasures—bagels and cream cheese. Now an organic bakery introduces a sustainable choice for this delicious treat.
Organic bagels are the latest line of baked goods from Rudi’s Organic Bakery, a company that takes pride in consistently baking without the use of preservatives, pesticides, trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup and other artificial ingredients. In addition to these absent ingredients, Rudi’s Organic bagels are labeled with the USDA Organic seal, meaning at least 95 percent of the product is made with organic materials. The remaining five percent is comprised of materials that are not commercially available as organic.
These pre-sliced, two-ounce bagels are wrapped in packages of six and are available in four flavors: Plain, Honey Sweet Wheat, Multi-Grain and Cinnamon Raisin. They are available at most natural foods stores, select grocery stores nationwide and at www.RudisBakery.com with a suggested retail price of $3.99.
