The Women’s Resource Center in Alamance County, North Carolina, will be hosting the 15th Annual Herb Festival from April 26 to April 28. This spring garden festival will offer gardeners organic herbs, annuals, perennials, heirloom tomatos and vegetables, and more, all supplied from local farms and greenhouses in North Carolina.

Vendors already signed up for the event include:

• J & B Herb Farm
• A & A Plants
• Moon Meadow Perennials
• Four Leaf Farm
• Smith Clanton Greenhouses

The Herb Festival will offer gardeners a plethora of greens to choose from.

These local garden centers will provide a wide variety of greenery, including vegetables, wildflowers and herbs. Flowering potted plants, such as mums, tropical ferns and poinsettias, will also be available.

Gardeners don’t have to sport a green thumb to attend. Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand throughout the festival to answer any questions.

However, not all vendors are limited to selling plantlife. A few specialty vendors in last year’s festival included Alamance County Arts Council, where visitors could purchase crafts, jewelry and home furnishings. BJ’s Jewelry also set up a booth displaying an assortment of fashion jewelry and sterling silver. There is truly something for everyone at this festival.

Admission is $3 for those over the age of 12. All proceeds collected from the festival will go the Women’s Resource Center. For more information, visit The Herb Festival’s website.
