Summer is well underway, and it’s flip flop season. In other words, there’s no time to fuss with dry, cracked feet. O’Keeffe’s Company may have your solution.

O’Keeffe’s Company offers two products to solve your dry skin problems: Working Hands and Healthy Feet. The philosophy behind the creams is simple: just as parched, barren earth needs water, dry skin needs moisture. Both products are completely oil-free, which is what sets these apart from many others on the market. Countless lotions in stores today contain oils, such as almond oil and cocoa butter. O’Keeffe’s formula instead contains glycerin, which is a colorless, odorless substance that draws moisture to itself, which hydrates the skin, rather than repelling water like oil-based products do. O’Keeffe’s website claims that oil-based products may make the skin feel better to the touch, but it is only a quick fix to a problem that will only come back to haunt them later.

The company’s first product was O’Keeffe’s Working Hands, a formula that was inspired by an older rancher named Bill O’Keeffe. Bill worked with his hands a lot throughout the day on his ranch and suffered from dry, cracked skin that was painful and prevented him from working to the best of his ability. His daughter, tired of seeing her father fight with his dry skin, decided to use her skills as a pharmacist to create a cure.

O’Keeffe’s products contain a formula that treats dry, cracked skin woes. It is made of water and three chemicals: glycerin, stearic acid and paraffin. The glycerin is responsible for drawing water into the skin cells, and the stearic acid and paraffin prevent the water from evaporating.

Those interested in giving O’Keeffe’s products a try can find them at stores such as Bed Bath & Beyond or visit their website to place an online order. All O’Keeffe’s products come with a money-back guarantee.
