If you’re seeing green on NBC’s website, there’s no need to adjust your monitor. The color change is part of Green Week, in which NBC shows demonstrate energy-efficiency in a variety of ways.

Green Week is part of a larger environmental initiative by NBC Universal.

“Starting with this launch week of programming, the ongoing ‘Green Is Universal’ initiative will help reach hundreds of millions of NBCU’s consumers, raising awareness, entertaining and ultimately, driving results,” said Lauren Zalaznick, Chairman, NBC Universal Green Council and President, Bravo Media.

Cameos during Green Week include Al Gore and David Schwimmer on 30 Rock and Kermit the Frog as a literal green guest host on Deal or No Deal. Check  http://www.nbc.com/Green/  for tips of the day, videos, photos and programming schedules.
