Have some friends who are toe-deep in the environmental movement? Send a Starter Kit for Change to help them take more steps to help better the environment.

Each kit contains eco-friendly, themed items that will help those on the lighter end of the green spectrum learn how to incorporate sustainability into their lives: a CFL; organic hot cocoa mix; recycled thank you cards; a tree seedling for the Arbor Day Foundation; a donation envelope to support Action Against Hunger; a Sudoku puzzle; an Earth Write pencil; a mini journal made from lokta paper; and a beautiful, reusable tote bag, decorated with Mahatma Gandhi’s inspirational saying, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

All the kit’s packaging is biodegradable, and as an added bonus, each inspirational lokta tag that is attached to the products inside (such as the “give” tag that is tied, with biodegradable ribbon, around the donation envelope) are infused with flower seeds. Simply plant them in ½ inch of dirt, water them and watch them grow.

Kits are available online at StarterKitForChange.com for $40.
