Delicious, organic and available in a variety of flavors, Shaman Chocolates organic milk chocolate with macadamia nuts and Hawaiian pink sea salt is a treat for your taste buds.

The thought of salt in chocolate may seem peculiar, but it has become very popular among chocolatiers lately. The small bits of macadamia nuts also give a crunch to this chocolate bar. The chocolate flavor is light, and a closer look to the label confirms that the cacao content of this specific flavor is only 37 percent.

The low cacao content makes it more like a candy bar except for the fact that the rest of the ingredients are organic and very straightforward with no chemical preservatives: sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, chocolate liquor, soy lecithin, vanilla, macadamia nuts and Hawaiian pink sea salt.

Shaman Chocolates are fair trade and USDA organic. According to the label, all profits support the Huichol Indians from Mexico.

Shaman Chocolates come in other flavors, such as Organic Extra Dark Chocolate, which has a strong, dense, almost bitter chocolate, Organic Milk Chocolate and more. A box of 12 three-ounce bars is $36.
