Design Within Reach introduces “Be Well” by Mary Cordaro, a new line of sustainable bedding. The collection was created with the collaboration of Mary Cordaro, president of H3Environmental and creator of the Mary Cordaro Collection of Organic Beds and Bedding, Vivetique Sleep Systems.

Handmade and 100 percent organic, this bedding collection includes a mattress, pillows and a mattress protector. The Be Well Mattress—$2,200 to $4,600—is made with an 8-inch Talalay latex core wrapped in organic fabric quilted to organic cotton and Pure Grow Wool.

Filled with kapok, a natural fiber from the seed pod of the silk floss tree, the Be Well Pillow is $50 to $75. The Be Well Mattress Protector, $150 to $350, is made of undyed Pure Grow Wool, harvested from free-range sheep that graze in a pesticide-free pasture.

“It’s important to me that my organic mattresses and bedding collections support both human health, from babies to adults, as well as planetary health,” Cordaro says.

The Be Well Collection is available for purchase at Design Within Reach retail stores nationwide or at
