Unlike conventional candies, these fun flavors are created with real fruit extracts. The candy colors are made from organic black carrots, wheat grass juice, and pumpkin. Instead of high fructose corn syrup, these sweet treats use organic tapioca syrup, evaporated cane juice and citric acid.
Rob Wunder and Sergio Bicas, the founders of YummyEarth LLC, created the company two years ago to provide their children with chemical-free candy. These treats are now priced at about $5 for a personal bin of 30 lollipops or 70 candy drops and can be found at health food stores, gourmet stores and supermarkets.
