More than 10,000 people and 200 companies are expected to attend Down:2:Earth green living festival in Boston April 9, 10 and 11. In its third year, Down:2:Earth will give attendees an inside look at the best ways to implement green living standards at home, work and everywhere in between.
Natural Home editor-in-chief Robyn Griggs Lawrence will focus on green building and sustainable lifestyles; she will host a virtual tour of some of the greenest homes in the U.S.
Robyn’s discussion will be a part of the Homes and Families sector of the expo. Other workshops, presentations and speeches will cover topics including climate change, jobs, food, local businesses, energy and water.
Event sponsors, including Organic Valley, Whole Foods Market, Electrolux and Zipcar, represent nearly every aspect of sustainable living.
The sustainable living expo will be held in the Hynes Convention Center. The event is open to the public and tickets range from $8 to $25. Children under 12 get in for free. Visit the Down:2:Earth website for discounted ticket prices.
