Make small sachets for small, tidy pets, or stuff the whole amount into a large denim pillow for larger, itchier animal friends. Pennyroyal is especially effective as a flea repellent.
Cat Blend
• 2 ounces dried pennyroyal (about 2 cups)
• 1 ounce dried catnip (about 1 cup)
• 1 ounce chamomile (about 1 cup)
• A few drops peppermint oil
Dog Blend
• 2 ounces dried pennyroyal (about 2 cups)
• 1 ounce dried thyme (about 1 cup)
• 1 ounce dried wormwood (about 1 cup)
• A few drops pennyroyal oil
Use whole or cut herbs. This mixture can be refreshed by adding fresh oil from time to time.
