This reader favorite Waltys Olive Oil and Garlic Salad Dressing recipe is an herb-based dressing perfect to use on any salad.

Waltys Olive Oil and Garlic Salad Dressing Recipe

• 6 large cloves garlic
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 3/8 cup red wine vinegar
• 2 heaping teaspoons fresh thyme, minced
• 2 teaspoons chili sauce
• fresh pepper to taste

1. Mash garlic and salt to a paste with a mortar and pestle. Combine with other ingredients. Let mixture stand a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator to blend flavors. Stir before using.
