Turmeric, the spice that gives curry powder its yellow color, has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger has both anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties. Together they make a potent healing combination. Try it when you’re down with a winter cold—the zingy flavor will help you feel better.
